Keen Day 2013

Yep, Keen Day is fast approaching.

That means the usual 2 week cram to get everything done and ready for the big day. The past few years have been a bit underwhelming, but maybe this year can be different. Things have certainly been exciting around here since Tom showed up again.

I'm seriously considering releasing a two level AR demo for everyone, even though I said I'd only do it if the Kickstarter succeeded. Do you guys have any plans for Keen Day? Maybe there could be a small contest or tournament or something?

First plan: Release mod.

Backup plan: Have 314 patch pages on the Keen wiki on that day (And 315 the next day!) So far, so good.

Id be interested in participating in a contest, just as long as I don't need to come up with the rules and guidelines for it.

I would absolutely love to see awesome buhgawesome competitions and tournaments. I've been cramming it up a bit, trying to release my first mod on Keen Day, but I'm not going to make it in time. Just a bit of bad luck. I'll be preoccupied with other matters this week. Bummer...

Bubbatom, you can draw another level, so I can make another one based on your art, though the secret levels might become too many and surpass the regular ones

Well, I was planning on digital (MP3) enhanced versions of the MIDi's I convert and enhance, but since there hasn't been any MIDI's for a while, I may release the original pure converted and edited IMF->MIDI translations as well, in (General) MIDI format.

I'm actually working on an Apogee tribute CD, but some of the first ones I did were Keen tracks.
