Inglorious Basterds.

Great film. My friend claimed that this topped Pulp Fiction.

Dragonheart 2. About as ordinary as I was expecting. It was well composed visually, but so B-grade. Not terrible though. I don't regret watching it, but probably won't do so again except as some kind of nostalgia trip one day in the distant future.

Also saw Watchmen and District 9 recently.

Was blown away by the awesomeness of Watchmen.

District 9 wasn't what i was expecting but I enjoyed it. Really great to see that it showed the depravity of all sentience and didn't just make the humans out as the bad guys (something it seems the upcoming 'Avatar' is going to do).

The X-Files: I Want To Believe. Very disappointed. I had hoped for a more worthy return to the franchise.

"The Wind Journeys", at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was fantastic. It's about an accordion player journeying through Colombia to see his old master, in 1968. It may sound boring from that description, but it is not at all. The landscapes are unbelievable, the story is great, and the acting is really impressive (and it's all by unknown locals, though including some famous local musicians).

I saw Idiocracy for the first time last night, it was so weird. I wonder if that's what people really think is going to happen to the world. :dead

I too think that District 9 wasn't what I expected. It was crap. Interesting idea non the less, but at least we could have some better ending.

Flywheel. Good one for a $20,000 budget. :)

^ Acting was rather cheesy at points for that one, but it was good for its resources, as you said.

I saw Inglourious Basterds too. I liked it, to my surprise. :) It had some funny moments...

Do you watched 2012? It's kinda strange and scary to watch a move for something that many people are believing is coming for real. I'm not believing that exactly this is going to happen, but something will. Anyway breathtaking effects. Also, politicians should take notes from it and take appropriate actions and not act lame :). And we, as humans, should not be assholes in hard times and we should not forget who we are after all, which, I think, is the point of this movie.
