ok then, let's start with the door tileinfo layout. just compare both images to get an idea of how things should be arranged.LL wrote:One thing, you don't need to 'fill' doors that much for them to work, instead of a 2x6 block you only need the bottomost row. Look at how regular Keen levels do things.
the left image is way to overcrowded
just point with the linker at one tile below the door. point to the exact same spot with every given linker.
plus: you only need at maximum two rows (one might be also enough).

let's take a look at these bridges and why they won't switch as they should. again a quick 'n dirty side by side comparison:
the left example shows a wrongly placed trigger
a trigger link of bridges needs to be placed at an exact spot (shown in the image above).

Gridlock wrote:In Keen 4, every tile you want affected by the bridge behavior should link to another tile with a 0 animation speed. Flipping a bridge switch causes the game to check each tile in each row, starting left and moving right. If one of the tiles in a row doesn't animate, then it stops changing tiles in that row.

concerning those keyholders. in this case you'll need to add a background tile, which just looks like the path surroundings.
open up the background tileset by pressing 7 on your keyboard
over here, choose the right background tile to fill the gap.
