Winamp, adplug and speed

Post by Levellass »

So I had to reinstall winamp and adplug because of recurring crashes. But now it doesn't play IMFs at the right speed, it goes for Wolfenstein speed instead of Keen. How do I fix that, anyone?

Output Plugin options? Same place where you turn off the reverb etc.? Although I'm sure you've checked there a million times already.
I flermmed the plootash just like you asked.

Llama?

The options have things like letting songs loop and the quality of .wav to output but nothing for IMF speed...

Instead of WinAmp I'd suggest using MediaMonkey instead, switched to this one about a year ago and I was very convinced.

Instead of WinAmp I'd suggest using foobar2000. switched to this one about 10 year ago and I am still very convinced.

Limitations: Out of the box, the extensible user interface is plain and utilitarian, but therefor HIGHLY customizable.

Interesting. You have it? It plays Keen's IMF files at the right speed? (IT seems the issue I have now is the 'modern' adplug has had some things disabled for stability that worked for me before.)
