Granted. It's an astounding affair, core gameplay is by John Romero, cinematic cutscenes by Uwe Boll, microtransactions by King Digital Entertainment with Princess Lindsey being voiced by Rosie O'Donnell. It defines Keen for everyone for the next 25 years.
I wish I could get my fox, chicken and bag of grain across this river without any of them devouring the others.
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.
Granted. You suddenly realize that you've been using mechanical keyboards ever since you were born, which makes it all the more frustrating when you're forced to use the cheapest, crummiest membranes ever at work.
Granted. This requires you to undergo a longterm detoxication procedure so gruesome that it makes you wish you'd just waited it out.
I wish for a good, friendly, real-life programming tutor.
(Don't get Corsair, as great as they are as a company, their mechs are rather meh. Sucky build quality and all. Get Coolermaster (the only "gaming" company making very decent mechs), Ducky or something like that, or go for a non-gaming RGB board of which there are still dozens suiting every budget. )
Granted. Then you wake up and realize it was only a dream.
I wish I wasn't hungry.
(Noted. What about Razer? I'm kind of limited as to what I can get around here, most of what I can find is mechanical feel only and that just. Yeah, no.
And yes, I know there's online shopping, but shipping. Ow.)
Writer. Translator. Player of games. Only bites when asked nicely.
Granted. You're not hungry, ever again. You no longer need to eat. It's alright at first, even kind of convenient, but before long you really start to miss food.
I wish I would get enough sleep and sleep at normal times.
Granted. However you are totally insensible during these times and cannot be woken. Because of this you are unable to respond when your house is burgled, then burned down for the insurance money.
I wish the dozen or so Keen projects I have would complete themselves.
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.
Granted. You suddenly find that you are the only one releasing mods, as no one else can complete theirs for some reason. It's nice at first, but you start to miss the creativity of other people and slowly start to hate Keen until you murder keen cosplayers.
I wish I had a bag large enough for my new model M
