Wow, what a pic....is it from the sequel?
yep!
Will it be long before we get to play Keen 59?
Hmmm... its maybe... a bit over half done? maybe more? im not too sure, fixing bugs and things can take a while. my biggest problem is just working on the damn thing. im not very motivated, and have my own stupid life i have to deal with. meh, it'll be done at some point.

That's... crazy! :eek :eek Really, really nice. I don't know what are you working, but you can easily be a professional game/art designer. Also, I don't know what programs are you using for drawing, but I can only imagine what you could do without limiting the colors.

Man, that looks wicked! And to think I just beated all levels of RoR without cheats like three days ago :| I have to say I loved the difficulty, the last level required me to save at least three times ingame (which I rarely do at all) :O

So will this mod stay in eternal beta and you'll be working on the next episodes? or is this 'beta v3' just a modern way of saying this is ready for going commercial?

I believe he has mentioned that it will always be beta as there's always room for improvement\bug fixing but B3 is about the end product.

yeah basically. im just lazy, thats why its still 'beta v3'. its actually mostly fine the way it is right now. i just gotta change the title screen, recompile what i have and send it off.
im just worried cause sometimes out of nowhere someone mentions coming across a bug, or memory problem. i dont want to send out the official release and then down the line someone comes across another problem. so, i was just giving it time really.

Bernie, you art is simply beyond this world...
You're my hero, and most inspiring pixel artist I've even seen.

Any chance for you to try Wolf3D modding as well? Would be cool to see you expand onto more classic engines :)
But really, try Unity + Kickstarter, you'll be a millioner.

Eh, no final product has ever been bug-free, that is simply an impossibility. You should really cut yourself some slack, you must be one of if not the fastest and the most quality-assuring modder ever at PCKF. If you're lazy, what are the rest of us? :o

didnt we talk about this before, doomjedi? we got into a whole discussion about wolf mods and etc.etc. but basically no i woudlnt try wolf3d, because i already did :p many years ago i did some wolf3d modding. but i must've been around 15 or so, so it probly wasnt that great. and ive long lost my mod files anyways.
