I like that there are many tileset variations. And that there are some other shapes of the levels. I would increase the explosion time with 1 second. You can barely escape explosions. You're so slow at the beginning. I don't like that there are only 2 speed ups. Maybe they should be four even for two player game. But even when you're faster, you still can't escape much of the explosions. Even if you collect many bombs, you cannot use many because you have to hide fast.
Btw is the title screen implemented because I didn't saw it in the game?

We'll take notice.wiivn wrote:I like that there are many tileset variations. And that there are some other shapes of the levels. I would increase the explosion time with 1 second. You can modify the numbers and types of powerups in layouts folder, you don't have to wait for the next version
Yes. I played it at work and saw it every time.Btw is the title screen implemented because I didn't saw it in the game?
But now here at home I saw it only the first time I ran the game. It's probably some bug.
Title screen looks amazing on any monitor.

It looks like everything is moving along nicely! The movements are very smooth, although a little slow to begin with. I see that you've opted to have the flame graphics end before they reach a wall, a la Saturn Bomberman - it looks good. It is a little weird that, when one player places a bomb beneath another, the other player is pushed off... but hey, if that's the way you'd like to do it, maybe it will make for some interesting tactics.
Also, I'm not having any trouble with the title screen. It displays correctly each time I run the game.
All in all, good job!

Thank you! From you such feedback is very valuable.Plasma Captain wrote:It looks like everything is moving along nicely!
I agree here - Dr. Kylstein - for your notice.although a little slow to begin with.
probably a nug that can be utilized as a feature. It is a little weird that, when one player places a bomb beneath another, the other player is pushed off...
In general, if not for Keen day - I think we wouldn't rush the first beta just yet.

I've set the starting speed one speed-up faster in the development version now. I had been thinking about doing it before, now I'm convinced.DoomJedi wrote:I agree here - Dr. Kylstein - for your notice.although a little slow to begin with.
It never occurred to me that players would get that close to each other. I don't know what the appropriate behavior is.DoomJedi wrote:probably a bug that can be utilized as a feature. It is a little weird that, when one player places a bomb beneath another, the other player is pushed off...
